Gruissan

Dominated by the romantic ruins of the tower Barberousse, Gruissan is fishermen's magnificent small village, builds in circular plan, such a snail, which would wind up the castle.

The old village was built in one of the most beautiful natural beauty spots which is by ponds where many pink flamingos live.

The picturesque colours of the houses, soil colours, alighted by the sun, give to this place a certain cachet.

Gruissan

2 kilometres eastern the village, on the beach, you will discover houses built on piles, extraordinary small chalets which moreover were used for the shooting of Beineix's film "37,2 ° in the morning".

In addition to the sea, near Gruissan there is also the Massif of Clape where you can hike : the chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Auzils , the seamen cemetery, the panoramic table and its panoramic sight on ponds and islands of the surroundings, watchtower and agricultural pieces of land looking like splendid mosaics.

For those who like walking, this Massif reveals also other surprises : stone falls, rough canyons, caves, the abyss called Oeil-Doux, and many other ones. Come on, it's your turn this place !
