Two kilometres away from the village Leucate , you will be seduced by 18 kilometres of beach where the sand reminds the one of its distant cousins of Brazil (admitted sand all over the world as a sand "standard"). The length of those beaches varies from 400 metres wide to only some metres for the only sheltered beach from the tramontana (strong wind of south of France) which nearby the cliff.
