The world of minerals :
The world of minerals is illustrated by about 1600 samples distributed in two groups :

- One presents the main sorts and the varieties of minerals,
- The other one presents some minerals and French minerals by department or geological regions.

The world of fossils :
The exhibition on the world of fossils presents an interesting panorama of local fossil organisms, which allows us to understand how life was during the last 600 million years of the history on the earth.

The world of rocks :
Next to the world of minerals, a particular place is reserved to the world of rocks and natural materials, illustrated with generally regional samples.

Fitted out in a determinedly modern place, it is composed of :

- a mineralogical collection (more than 10 000 samples) which, recently enriched with the gift of the collection Pierre and Marie Fitte, reaches the first French places.

- A palaeontological collection illustrating the last 600 million years with the history on our Earth. This collection has the benefit of gifts from the collections of coalmines and from the municipal museum of the Colombier.

- A projection in relief of slides of minerals.
