Settled in a house of the seventeenth century, perfectly restored, the museum of the Scribe evokes in a very alive way the History of the Writing through centuries.



More than presentations of the techniques of manufacture of the papyrus, the parchment, papers of rag and wood, there is an important collection of tools for writing of all the times, of penholders, of inkwells as well as - a little wink at the nostalgia -the reconstruction of a classroom of the 1920's.

A Stand of writing is opened to everybody, at the end of the visit. A souvenir shop is present too.

From June 15 till September 10, visits every day from 14. 30 till 19. 00.

From September 11 till June 14, visits on Saturday and Sunday.

Received groups every day, all the year round, on meeting.
