Fressac's castle


In some minutes of Sauve and of Saint-Hippolyte of Fort , please, discover the hamlet of Fressac, dominated by its medieval castle.

After a short ascent, you will discover a magnificent panorama, as well as a building in curious system of defence.

Fressac's castle accommodated doubtless no Lord. Occupying an important strategic point, it(he) became apparently famous in no war. It was a castle of protection where the populations of the surroundings came to take refuge in case of attack.

To make you to it of Fressac, please, turn to the left after the bridge. Please, park in the cemetery. The path allowing to gain(win) the castle leaves this place. In your arrival to the castle you will be inside ruins and in the middle of nowhere. Please be careful !
