The Space of the Miniature occupies the former(old) stables of Rochebelle's glass factory(glass-making) which was created at the beginning of the XIX-th century. This industrial set(group), closed down for some decades, is going to welcome several activities within the Rochebelle's cultural Pole, situated near the Museum PAB and of her(it)

Mine(undermine) witness , at feet of cévenols foothills. The organization of the exhibition respects the architecture of time everything made remarkable.

The space of the Miniature is a centre of life with which the activity is punctuated by the organization of several demonstrations (thematic exhibitions, stock exchanges(scholarships) of exchanges, visits of clubs, etc.). Atour of Alès's tourism, the Spaces out Miniature cultural vocation has also one, because only an exhibition of miniatures can make arrest(dread) materially what was the technological revolution of the XX-th century.

The exhibition presents the particular collection of Christophe Gaillard's motor vehicles, completed by that of the city of Alès (trains, automobiles, planes) and several local collectors.

About 17 000 details(rooms) are available for a thematic presentation of the evolution of the ground transport and aerials or a class(course) of the XX-th century. 50 shop windows redraw the history of prestigious motor marks(brands) but also that of commercial vehicles which marked the economic activity. A place is occupied by the competition the current brilliance of which one knows. The railway transport is presented in static shop windows and in full of life networks. The big moments of the conquest of the air(sight) are also evoked.

Being opened from October 1-st till May 31 every day except Tuesday from 10 o'clock till 12 o'clock and from 14 o'clock till 17 o'clock. From June 1-st till September 30 every day 10 hours at 12 o'clock and from 14 o'clock till 18 o'clock. Acccueil of the groups on booking.
