The caves of "Clamouse"

The caves 30 minutes away from the cities of Montpellier and Béziers .

They have been explored since 1945, the natural access of them is submerged by water, which has occurred the legend around its name. An artificial tunnel of 30 metres allows to get round the siphon in order to visit the caves.

Stalactites and stalagmit The "Jellyfish"

They are very much interesting because of the extraordinary variety of forms and colours of the numerous chalk stones.

The narrow natural passages allow to reach several very large rooms which resemble like auditorium sometimes which followed each other on 850 metres of the way of the visit.

The visit is made in a musical atmosphere as it was an organ sound at the background, and in a modulated floodlighting so that you get an unforgettable sight of the underground world.
