In 1996, in the region of the city called Mèze , a huge paleontological historic site has been discovered, as well as a lot of eggs and bones of dinosaurs. This prehistoric site is one of the most famous historic sites in the world because of the searches and the excavations which go on and on.

Situated in the middle of the prehistoric site, the museum - park of Mèze recounts the history and the knowledge of Dinosaurs from their origin until they became extinct. You will learn also how they discovered the place and you will know all about the most recent scientific works on it.

Presented for a public of all ages, this museum of "quality historic site" allows the observation, the understanding and the active participation of all, because of a very special concept of museum outdoors.

The course is marked out with skeletons, skulls put back together, also with shops, many notice boards with explanations, all this, you'll see, will be for you an extraordinary scientific adventure.

At the end of the course, in a small valley, you will arrive to a place of excavations where you will observe the eggs-nests of Dinosaurs.
