Capital of Languedoc-Roussillon, at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, the city named Montpellier which was the twentieth city in France twenty years ago, is now the eighth one.
Very much involved in its history and wanting always definitely to be ahead, the city of Montpellier has been clever enough to increase the value of its architectural heritage by integrating into determinedly modern projects which give to the town its peculiarity.
