The city of Frontignan-La Peyrade, famous for its muscatel wine, especially attracts attention because of its protected territory, its ponds and wild beaches, the massif of Gardiole classified, and the ancient protected salt marshes, which it can show off to the lovers of nature.

This territory, of which more than the half of it is classified or considered as remarkable place of interest, has a coastal land of seven km long, landscapes of lagoons, swamps, ponds, canals and landscapes of "guarrigue" on the massif of Gardiole. From this typically Mediterranean landscape, one discovers an exceptional panorama and some descriptive components of the activity and the urban evolution of the city.
