Of the 6th century before JC in 1-st century after JC, the population occupied the oppidum of ensérune
.
It is only during the "Roman Peace" that the occupants, about 10000, abandon the steep hill for the low part(party).
One will discover the site loaded with history only towards 1915.
Near the Canal of Noon, beaches, surrounded with pine forests, with mills, with chapels, Nissan-lez-Ensérune is a small village from the Languedoc absolutely to discover.
