Galargues : A the limit of the Gard and of its traditions. Bénovie crosses lands and vineyards before throwing(casting) itself into the Vidourle. Galargues belonged to the baronnie ancient(former) of Montredon. At the beginning of the century, iron mines are exploited(run) there.

Garrigue : From the 1st century with JC, the village develops on lands covered with oaks called "Garrus". In the X-th century it(he) belongs in

Maguelone's évéché, then to the powerful Baronnie de Montredon, and finally to King of France. Today, always very dynamic, the municipality receives the title "flowery village".

Sauteyrargues : particularly well equipped in activities of leisure activities (hand-gliding, horse, cycle) and for the reception (restaurant, shelter), Sauteyrargues is ready to welcome you for your holiday resort. You will appreciate there the charm of its landscapes, its small roads and the exceptional frame of one of the most beautiful Romanic churches of the canton, Aleyrac's chapel.

Vacquières : Being dominated and being watched by the éolienne, work of the beginning of the century. Vacquières's name place would come from Latin "Vacca", or one raises(brings up) cows.

A dynasty of Gentihlommes Verriers exploits(runs) a glass factory(glass-making) of the 13th in 17th s.

Valflaunès :
The natural, classified site, will enchant you : perched on a small hill, framed(supervised) by the peak Saint wolf, and a cliff of Hortus, a landscape féérique, of the rise in the sunset.
