The classic art conglomeration of Anderitum is the object of campaigns of regular searches(excavations) for the XIX-th century. The state of the knowledge on its town planning and its chronology becomes clearer every year, in the course of construction sites summer (possibility of visit).
The showroom looks onto the place of the village. Antenna of the local museum Ignon-Fabre, she(it) opened her(its) doors in 1998 and presents so the result of two centuries of searches(researches)...
At the first floor are exposed(explained) objects resulting from the beginning of the investigations (among whom(which) the milestone, at the origin of the searches(excavations)). In the floor, the presentation is renewed every year, by integrating the headaways(overhangs) of the previous campaigns. The statue of the gallo-Roman god Silvain-Sucellus brought to light on the site is the chief detail(room) of it.
The visits can be accompanied, or are free by means of data carriers. The entrance(entry) of the space muséographique is free Monday, between July 14 and August 31.
During August, the guests can discover, in the week, the various points of poll(sounding) of the current construction sites. A plot of land (State ownership) can be visited the summer, on inquiry.
Off season summery, the showroom welcomes the groups and the school. She proposes to the pupils of studios(workshops) on subjects such as the ceramic, the writing, the gallo-Roman religion or the techniques of the archaeology.
These visits can be prepared in coordination with the teachers, on their proposition.
