Formerly, the population Lozérienne was strongly conditioned(packaged) by two characteristic and additional aspects: the geographic situation enclosed by its mountains as well as big snows of the rigorous winters obliging the inhabitants to live in autarky during 6 months.
So, stays of the year got organized in anticipation of this period of cold and isolation.
