More than hundred of wolves live in partial release in a wooded space of several hectares, near Sainte- Lucia, on the lands of the legend of the animal of Gévaudan.
The wonderful walk in the wildlife with animals park is completed with a permanent exhibition, with splendid slide shows.

Clever animal, the wolf is rather shy and not at all aggressive, it kills only for its own food. Wolves are social animals with an organization of life which can be compared to ours. A pair of wolves is united for all their life long and when they are in a too narrow enclosure only the dominant pair multiplies. The wolf regurgitates at first its food for its female when it is with its wolf cubs, then for the wolf cubs which seek their father by nibbling its jaw.

The park with wolves in it dates from 1985. Today Anne, who is the daughter of the creator, Gérard Ménatory and all his team will make you share their passion for the Park of Gévaudan.
You can eat something at the gourmet restaurant of Laurent Chabert which dominates the Gorges de l'Enfer - Gorges of the Hell - (booking at the telephone number 04.66.32.35.91), opened noon and evening all year round.
