The bison of Europe, the surviving atypical animal of prehistoric times, lived in the European forests until Moyen-Age, only one(only) some specimens suvécurent in the forest of Bialowieza in Poland.


Thanks to a plan of protection of the sort, you can discover near saint - Eulalie, on more than 200 hectares of protected natural spaces, a crowd of bisons in relative freedom today.

The visits are made mainly in carriage.

This walk offers an original character to the approach of animals.

In carriage, in sled, a circuit in the reserve, of duration about 50 mn, allows to discover the bisons of Europe in their natural environment.

This mode of visit protects the tranquilité of animals and allows a friendly dialogue among the guest and the leader of the carriage.

On foot (from May 1-st till August 31), a guide accompanies you on a circuit of a kilometre around a park of vision of 3 hectares. This route allows those that do not leave in carriage to discover some bisons of Europe.

The reserve and the house of the bison of Europe (a playful and educational space which reveals the previous history and the way of life of this survivor of prehistoric times) is opened all year long.

For the visit in carriage or in sled, the booking is strongly recommended. Only the pedestrian circuit is opened from May 1-st till August 31.
