The District Mouré is in fact the name that the inhabitants give to their old town Collioure
.
It is situated between the church Notre-Dame des anges
and the Royal castle
, delimited on one side by the Quai de l'Amirauté and on the other one by the Path Moulade.
The stroll, through the small alleys paved with pebbles in schist, surrounded with pink houses in wrought iron balconies is really to advise and even to encourage.
At the top of the street Miradou raises the Castle of the same name where you will admire a beautiful Échangette.
The Castle was built in the seventeenth century, it is always occupied and belongs to the French Army.
In spite of the development of the tourism these last twenty years, this magnificent town has kept its authentic charm and its atmosphere so particular.
