This mineral decoration is peacefully installed(settled) in the heart of the valley of Têt. You will discover it a natural amphitheatre(lecture hall), a wall of sedimentary rock skinned(grazed) by the erosion. With the path of interpretation you will travel in the course of a landscape.
Through the geomorphology you will discover the birth of Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, the climatic changes, the paléofaune and the paléovégétation but also the notions of erosion and of sédimentation. This landscape will tell you also the human history through the poverty of lands and cultures, ceaseless fight of the man and the elements.The site is classified since 1981 by ministerial decree, it is the object of importing alteration work in 2000, integrating the objectives of conservation of the site, the safety(security) and the reception of the public.
