This little town is situated in front of the Fenouillèdes, some kilometres of Rivesaltes
away on the road to Toulouse via Quillan

This place which looks like a bolt of the valley of Agly and Maury is a village of rural type where life is always calm and full of serenity.
It is an excellent point of departure to visit the castle named Quéribus
a castle to be seen, the villages of Tautavel
or of Latour-de-France, and all the wonders being in this beautiful part of the department.
On the central place of the village, there is the statue of the child of the land, named François Arago (physicist and astronomer, Minister of the war and Navy in 1848) who raises in the shade of plane trees, surrounded with a great number of shops where there is all the time conviviality.
do not miss to admire on this place the beautiful medieval tower surmounted with a campanile and, close to it, the nice church Holy Vincent
