Corsavy is located in the gorges de la Fou seven kilometres away from the West of Arles-sur-Tech
.
The departmental road D43, charming mountain road, will lead you to this picturesque small village nicknamed "the balcony of the Canigou".
You will find over there the atmosphere of yesteryear with its small alleys, its houses with character, its church, its tower bell from Romanic origin and its portal dating from the eighteenth century.
something to see : the last remnants of its Castle, its watchtower at the entrance of the village and, two kilometres away from there, the Romanic chapel.
The chapel raises on the road of Arles-Sur-Tech
, surrounded with big oaks and cypresses. It was built in the twelfth century on the foundations of a church dated from the ninth century.
Unfortunately, in spite of its stoned thick walls, its vault broke down.
From the chapel, you can go on a short cut which will lead you to a charming area of picnic where you can take in fresh supplies, relax and enjoy this marvellous landscape, resting in the shade of great trees.
