Serralongue is located in the middle of Vallespir, side the Mountain Negro (1450m high), seven kilometres away from the national road when leaving of Arles-sur-Tech
and going to Prats-de-Mollo.
This beautiful small medieval village with its coloured houses is a real haven of peace and happiness.
You will notice on the small place, the charming church of the village dating from the eleventh century and its hundred-years-old tree. You will admire the magnificent portal and its wooden doors decorated with surprising wrought iron motives.
The other curiosity of this small village is the "Conjurador". This square-shaped building (3 metres on 3 metres), situated at the top of the hill, the building of which dates from the fourteenth century, was a place of prayers to ward off bad luck. It is a typical monument of Catalonia.
Before going down this hill, please, do stop one moment and admire the splendid panorama of the village of Serralongue.
