Banyuls-sur-Mer is located on the road to Spain between Port-Vendres and Cerbère , on Coast Vermeille. This charming coastal resort sets along its magnificent bay on a ground propitious to cactus, olive trees, lemon trees, orange trees and vineyards naturally.

Because of its famous nectar, this natural mild wine, which gets the same name, that this village is known and recognized all over the world. The National road 114, which crosses this charming city, is lined on both sides with trades of all kinds, with restaurants in which you can eat outside and cafes where you can drink or eat while resting in the shade of palm trees and plane trees.

The charming walk which goes along the beach will allow you to appreciate the panorama with, in the end of the bay, its marina, on which raises the aquarium of the laboratory Arago .

On the pier, you will notice on a rocky cape, a work of art in bronze, representing the "child" of the region, Aristide Maillol. From that place, you can gaze at this marvellous bay and listen to the noise of the waves, which come to run aground on rocks.

Before leaving, please, do not hesitate to make a little turn to go on the road of the watershed and visit the chapel Notre-Dame de la Salette and the tower with signals Madeloc dating from the Visigoth age (sixth century).
