Created in 1913 by the historian Urbain Cabrol, president - founder of the Company(society) of the Friends of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and of Bas-Rouergue, municipal museum is installed(settled) since 1975, place de la Fontaine, in a particular hotel of the XVIII-th century.
