The museum of the Memory of Cransac was creates by " the Association of Friends de Cransac ".
It(he) redraws 2 000 years of history of the village of Cransac on 400 m2 with more than 350 photographic reproductions, history, plans and 5 models (among whom(which) one of the full of life 12 M2).
The village is built at feet of a hill " Montet " which wastes(destroys) for numerous centuries a subterranean fire.
This phenomenon gave birth to an original balneology " Unique(only) in Europe ". Warm gases are used in steam rooms to look after the rheumatisms.

Indeed, Cransac-les-Eaux owes his(her) renomée lontaine to his(her) sources which Romans already knew. The Highlight is situated between 1 800 and 1850. One comes there from whole France; one counted in this time 5 to 6 000 persons having hydrotherapy a year.
