The royal fortress of the 13th century, raises itself(draws up itself) at the end of the rocky hook which the river encloses on its base. The donjon dominates the narrow gorges(breasts) where pours Aveyron and stays up the village.

Situated on the verge of Rouergue and of Quercy, Najac is in the heart of a country rich in castles, in abbeys, it bastides, in archeological sites, in gorges and in valleys. The drive(ride) can be practised on foot, on horseback, in cycle or in canoe.

The village offers all the pleasures for holidays of charm in family or among friends. At the end of August, the celebrates votive of the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre sublime the fouace and through her(it), all the savours of the local gastronomy.
