At the edge of the Aveyron, in 20 kilometres of Rodez , Belcastel hung on(collided) on rock faces with the castle of the 15th century, ruler, remains an exceptional site.

It is a village of picture postcard and painting with its "calades" ( paved alleys), the houses of character, its ovens, the fountain, its bridge, its grave of the Lord of Belcastel, its church... This valley of Aveyron with its woody hillsides, its paths, its site of the strong and the Lourdou completes this decoration of exception.

The architect Fernand Pouillon was amazed by this site and put his passion and his talent in the restoration of the castle.
