The city rose bit by bit, around a central place according to a regular and innovative, still remarkable plan nowadays. But if the relative prosperity which it knew afterward corresponds more certainly to the processes used(employed) by the monarchy(kingship) to sit(base) its political authority, the Hospitable contributed nevertheless to give a run-up to the rural activity.
