"Oriental Door" of the Alps of High Provence, in border of Encrême, Céreste is situated in the natural boundary common to three site geographically and historically determined.
On the West, an important road - the National 100 the original plan of which is three millennium - joins among rocky trays of the village and the parade of the river, and goes down(falls) in the valley in the direction of Apt
.
In the East, this same way of big traffic crosses(exceeds) high trays (dear(expensive) to Jean Giono) which cross(go through) the winds of Lure's mountain and which animate(stimulate) steep villages where from the sight extends towards the magnificent decoration of the Ubaye and towards close Italy.
In the South, sinuous but exalting roads lead(drive) on the other hillside of the Luberon to the already Mediterranean vegetation.
This pole of portico and threshold of High Provence, Céreste assumes him(it) since distant past one.
Céreste's patrimony

Céreste at feet of the highest summit of the small chain(channel) mountainous of the Natural Regional park of Luberon, proposes walks in family or sports circuits. Routes(courses) cycle touring, pedestrian, equestrian are accessible(approachable) to the majority of the small and big walkers.
In a protected frame in touch with the nature, by whom(which) you can only appreciate this panoramic landscape( Mountain Ventoux, Chains the Alps, Mountain of Lure and imperceptible which will be the source of unforgettable recollections.
