Indeed, the municipality consists of three villages of character (Sainte-Marguerite, Saint-Marcellin, Sainte-Marie), and of Vars-les-Claux, centre of station, on the road of the famous Collar of Vars, made mythical by the numerous passages of the Tour of France.

Vars it is also the fastest station of the world with Chabrières's track, famous for the record of the world of ski in more than 243 kilometres / hour, that makes(does) the world fame of the station.


But beyond the sports exploit, Vars is especially a station where the conviviality is the boss word, and where each, at its pace, can completely take advantage of the mountain.
