Grave-La Meije belongs to the circle privileged by the big inescapable sites of the world ski.

In 3500 m of height, it is the highest skiable domain of the Oisans and the highest 2-nd point of France harmed(served) by skilifts.

"Queen Meije" overhangs the villages of The Grave and Villar d' Arène, and their hamlets, down from his(her) 3 982 m.

In the cast iron of snows, the grassy hillsides of she(it) "Queen Meije" covers itself in some weeks with a thick carpet of narcissuses, gentians, rhododendrons...

In high mountain in more than 3 000 m, a cave of ice(mirror) dug in the body of the ice-cream maker(glacier), in the short-lived and fascinating sculptures welcomes you.

Grave is the point of departure of drives(rides) in the Park of Ecrin, first French national park, with more than 100 sorts of wild animals. Numerous chapels and stony oratories to be discovered, such as the Church of The Grave (13th century).

The Country of Meije is the theater of multiple sports activities to have a practice quite freely or with a frame (trainings, guides...).
