The Museum of the Country Brignolais was born in 1945, on the initiative of a loving team of the past of Brignoles and the Country Brignolais led(driven) by the Doctor André Jaubert ( 1870-1961 ). Majoral of Félibrige, Preside " Committee of the Centenarian(centenary) of Just-François-Marie Raynouard " in 1936.
This team gathered(reunited) in association (law 1901) under the naming " The Friends of the Old man Brignoles " manages the Museum which occupies the Palace of the Counts of Provence summer place of residence of the Counts of Provence of the XIII-th today in the XV-th century.

The very diversified collections result from gifts(donations) of the inhabitants of Brignoles
and of the region. Place of conservation, and studies, the Museum is a priviligié space and a place of reunion with our past.
The archives of Brignoles is also kept(preserved) there and can be consulted. The visit is facilitated by a description in several languages. For the groups the visit maybe driven(guided) on inquiry preliminary.
