Dominating the village , this experimental unique(only) work was built in the years 1930-1932. The conception is based on the condensation and the recovery of the atmospheric humidity.

Work of the Belgian engineer Knapen, it(he) has the shape of a dome of 12 m of height and of 12m50 of diameter.

The characteristics are remarkable: thickness of walls, fins in slate were arranged inside.

This model, experimented in Provence does not give the expected results, some liters of water only.


You can visit him(it), but it is important to provide you with a torch.
