Of the XIV-th in the XVI-th century, Lorgues
knew somber years, then his(her) expansion enriches him(it) of new monuments.
Certainly in Moyen-Age, the religious orders him(her,it) had appropriated. They bequeathed a patrimony of chapel rustic or decorated (BENVA'S ND), and Fontcouverte, pond of unique(only) keeping back in France, built by the builders of the abbey of Thoronet; it(he) had an agrarian function(office).
The bell tower was a tower of the XIV-th century. The later rises of the bell tower, the collegiate church Martinmas (XVIII-th century) and of chapel of the Penitent - grey, said chapel Saint François (XVII-th century) give rhythm to the landscape of tuilées roofs.
