Installed(settled) in the domestic house " The pink laurels " of the poet and novelist academician Jean Aicard (Toulon 1848 - Paris 1921), this museum presents the daily universe of the Provençal writer: books(pounds), recollections, personal objects, drawings left intact in the office(desk) and the library.
Distributed in the other details(rooms) of the house, the rest of collections, the objects of art, the sculptures, paintings, furniture, reports the fashionable Orientalist taste of the end of the XIX-th century in the region of Toulon

It is necessary to indicate a surprising collection of ceramic of Clément Massier (1844-1917), ceramist in Bay Juan and earthenware creator with metallic glints in the original forms, and, in an appendix of the house, the exhibition of about forty clothes(canvases) of the painter Paulin Bertrand ( 1852-1940 ), heir of Jean Aicard.
Being opened every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 14. 00 till 18. 00 as well as 1ers and 3èmes weekends of every month, except holidays.
