The Citadel of the XVI-th century is classified ancient memorial. For more than 400 years the Citadel dominates the city.
The Naval Museum :
Created in 1958 in the donjon, the Museum presents collection put down(deposited) by the direction(management) of Navy museums. These are distributed in twelve rooms. One will admire notably :
.Room of Antiques : Roman jas of anchor, amphoras, different lost property in the bay of Saint-Tropez dating the Neolithic...
.Room of the History of the city : a Plan - relief which redraws with many detail the city such as it was in 1716 ; a shop window dedicated to Swaggering...
.Room Suffren : statues, paintings, slide show and objects of constituent marine of Pierre André de Suffren's memorabilia, Lieutenant of King of the city of Saint-Tropez

.Room Jean-François Allard : documents illustrating the extraordinary life of this child of Saint-Tropez, Napoleonic Officer become a generalissimo of Prince Indien,
.Room of the Landing : illustrations, plans, photographic documents concerning the landing of the Allies in August, 1944 and the recollections of the Resistance.
.In the other rooms one will discover of magnificent copper matrices of carving sea charts, models of boats and typical boats of peach(fishing) and transport of the Mediterranean Sea, the models of "Calypso" of the Captain Cousteau...
Outside, one can see on the esplanade four Spanish artillery " taken to the enemy " and which watch symbolically Bay. Down from the Donjon one will appreciate a panorama to cut the breath.
