In the heart of the Massive of the Moors Garde-Freinet is snuggled up in a nest of greenery and sweet chestnut trees in 360 metres in height. The surface makes(does) it one of the most vast municipalities of France for a population of 1625 inhabitants.

During your visit you will discover the picturesque streets in the old village, its fountains, its former(ancient) laundry, the church revival (polychromatic marble altar in homage to Our Lady of the Verne).

Of the Strong Freinet, remarkable highest belvedere in 450 m of height. The begun searches(excavations) allowed to loosen(kick away) the first sat(based) by a strengthened village. Impressive vision of this set(group) when one reaches it by the path adjacent to the cross.
