Being situated in 18 km of Fréjus , on the foothills of Estérel, in 300 m of height, its situation close to the height-Var, to the sea, to Saint-Cassien's lake, being made(done) of Bagnols-en-Forêt an ideal place for those that want to take advantage of Mediterranean pleasures and to enjoy at the same time the charm, the coolness of a small Provençal village.

Nowadays Bagnols, with 1480 inhabitants, covers a surface of 4290 ha. The picturesque streets, with the arched landscapes, the shaded places, the fountains, dominate the plain of Fréjus, the Massive of Estérel in the East and that of the Moors on the West. In the first floor of the office of Tourism there is an archaeological museum and of the patrimony.

to distract you, it(he) has the traditional holidays(name-days) of July 13 and 14 and August 15, with their popular balls. It(he) there an annual concert Francis Poulenc, who lived(lay) in Bagnols. Exhibitions of painting have place during all the summer season.

To the me of July the competition of the "Painters in the street" and in August "attics in the street". All year round there is a game of bowls, a tennis, a peach(fishing), walks, rock-climbing and library, particularly well supplied for a so small village.
