The name of Vidauban results from "Vidalban" (old man Albani) but for his(her) étymologique sense(direction), he means "the white vineyard" (vitis Alba).
The soil and its hillsides allow the production of a quality wine among which the biggest part(party) in "naming A.O.C" and "Local wine".
This wine (red, rosé and white) is marketed roughly and retail (France and foreigner) or by :
- The Cooperative Cellar,
- The particular Cellars.
At the end of the summer, you can even pick you your apples in two domains where you will have the possibility of passing one day of relaxation and picnic by the river.
In Vidauban, the connoisseurs will know how to appreciate the aromtiques savours of the honeys of the Var, that they will find at our beekeepers as well as the nougat, the gingerbread, the mead and the royal jelly.
