The municipality of Bonnieux extends crests of Luberon in the tray(plateau) of Claparèdes and in the banks of Calavon.

Bonnieux is one of the most beautiful villages perched by the north hillside of the Luberon. Of the current site, one enjoys of admirable one panorama, on the agricultural plain of the valley of Calavon, the Mountains of Vaucluse and the Ventoux.
Dominated by its high church, the Romanic middle, at the middle - Gothic, in 425 m of height, this beautiful village commands(orders) the Coomb of Lourmarin
, only way crossing the Luberon.
to discover to Bonnieux : Bonnieux possesses vestiges which establish(constitute) a testimony of its prosperous past :
- The High Church or Old Church : one reaches it by a stair of 86 walking(stairs) in the shade of the hundred-years-old cedars. Behind the head of the church is put down(deposited) a stele funeral in registration, who(which) did not adorn to be previous to the 19th century. She(it) was probably dedicated to a mayor of Bonnieux. One reads to it : "honorable and lit(enlightened) Administrator...".
- Viewpoint indicator, at the level of the belvedere,
- New church ( 1870 ), contains primitive four of the 16th century resulting from the High Church, representing scenes of the Passion,
- Vestiges of tours(towers) and ramparts of the 13th century,
- Rouville du 18e's hotel century, ( current city hall),
- The Bridge Julien (An III avenue J.C.) in the plain in 5 km,
- The Tower Philippe, construction of an original at the end of the 19th century,
- Forest of Cedars in small Lubéron, in 6 km
