First of all a little of history : The municipality of Aillon-le-Jeune remains marked by the presence of the Carthusian monks, installed(settled) in Lourdens's coomb (Aillon-station's site). Aillon's house was based towards 1180, by the Count Humbert III of Savoy.

The monks developed the agriculture and the breeding, building cowsheds and barns at the top of mountains. vestiges are still numerous and are to discover.

The environment protected from the Natural reserve of the Massif of Bauges is not a legend but well and truly a reality. Authentic conviviality of our village passes very fast on to all its guests a joy of living and a communicative happiness.

The initiation and the practice of all the glides, the discovery of big protected spaces, in racket, in ski, in sled or still on foot... The happiness of the games of snow in family, will be our most beautiful presents...


The living environment of Aillons offers you all the drives(rides) about which you dream : sports or quiet, it alpages or in forests. Your senses(directions) will take advantage of mountains as far as the eye can see, of brooks and of torrents.
