Saint-Leu in Reunion is opened on the sea, but sheltered, with its small fishing port and its beach shielded from the coralienne band(strip).
The coffee(cafe) and the cotton made(did) the fortune in the 18th century, there are numerous vestiges of it and some buildings(ships) of the East India Company among which the city hall, Our Lady of the Salette and its famous pélerinage of September 19.

The prompters, particularly spectacular natural phenomena : in holes of cooled lave, waves rush with crash and spatter in big geysers which can reach(affect) 10 15 metres.The spotlight, world-famous for the vague and pleasant surfers, temperature of the water all year long. The wave of Saint leu (a "left") is the incontested star of réunionnais sports.
